Friends Old & New

I had a very busy but very pleasant weekend with some unusual highlights, Joanne told me her father had said to mention he had seen an old school friend of mine and that she was on facebook, that was enough to get me hot footing it to facebook. After 34 years we are now back in touch it has made me a little home sick but also has made me think just how important those friendships we make in our early years can be, in fact how important all friendships are. Which brings me to my next point, my friend Carole should be up for a friends award she looked after me when Iwas really poorly in January and now she is looking after our colleague and friend Allison, she spent her day off taking Ally to hospital and then had her stay over night with her, she puts herself out without a thought for herself, we all need to be a bit more like her, so thanks for being there Carole.

As you can all see now I am back to normal on my site, John fixed the things I had broken, so I can again become the sorce  of knowledge I pick up along my travels, also he got his marked papers back form the OU and oh my god, he is really clever, marks with excellent and very good on it, so well done John.

Today I also received a really nice e-mail from Maggie at Changing Places .org thanking me for taking the time to write to them and for the support I will be giving them, it was so nice to have someone acknowledge that you care rather than an automated response.

Thought you all might like to see Paige in her new buggy, which she loves and is so comfortable for her, she is still having pain and now it looks as though she always will, Joanne sent me these pics from a walk she had taken all the children on the other evening, Mr Murphy went along as well.
