Just recovering from a hectic weekend with my adorable grandchildren, Friday night we had 4 on a sleep over and Saturday nightwe had 3 of them, yes I feel shattered but also very content, I feel I get to share moments that lots of grandparents never share.
My realationship with these children is very oranganic in the way that nothing is kept from them they know when I am cross they know when I am proud of them, they also understand no means no, they know that give them due respect and expect it back and the nice thing is it works, it is old fashioned in many ways, but I think bring it on, from what I see with this nanny state kids no longer respect themseleves let alone there parents, so lets get back to some real family values, share things together, argue over things together but at least be together
