Road to recovery

Although I have had to work this bank holiday, I have really enjoyed it, all my patients have been very nice and pleased to see me but also I have had Paige and Imogen to stay with us for the weekend.

Paige is now making steady progress and it is lovely to here her giggle again, she still has pain but not in the same degree, the physiotherapy is helping and she is enjoying starting to play with things, so things are looking up.

I also managed to drag my husband away from his projects and out into the fresh air, it is slightly like taking a vampire out, with comments like I don’t do daylight, the colour of skin also backs that up, this vampire would not need any whitening make up.

We all went for a trip to our local woods and walked through the bluebells, really wonderful, the smell of pine, wild garlic and sweet bluebells, no other people around it was so blissful. It has been busy but I have taken a lot from this weekend and now less than a week away from my daughters wedding, John and I taking the children to Cornwall, it is all a little crazy but very exciting. My object now is to do Cornwall with four children in tow on a very strict budget, watch this space, I will let you all know if it is possible.
