On Monday Kyle had his 6th birthday, it was also half term so Graham had taken the day off, they all went for a day out to Monkey World, I had arranged for them to come back to me and I would cook a warm meal for them and do a birthday cake for him. When they arrived it was not hard to see that they had all had the most wonderful day, happy smiley faces all round, and all very hungry, we had a terrific afternoon and ended the day with the special cake I made and also balloons that light up, it was great fun.
The other important event this week was Paiges new chair arriving, with her condition she needs special seating to support her and also avoid pressure sores, it needs to fully adjustable and easily moved around, which is what we have got, it is a Jenx chair and is an amazing bit of kit, I was able to sit Paige at the kitchen table as though she was on a normal chair, it is also in a pretty lilac shade which is really nice for her, this is something the NHS had provided so some good things are still happening within the service.
Looking forward to the weekend when Paige and Imogen are coming to stay, we both missed the children last weekend, it was great getting sometime together but the house was sooo quite, I am also looking forward to Easter now as I know my brother is coming down and bring my bundle of fun nephew so I have lots to plan, keep warm and enjoy your weekend. xxx
