Catch Up Time

Seems a lot has gone on since last writing, I have had a few requests for travel deals which I am now looking into, also the recipe section is going very well, I will be putting new recipes up soon but I have to test all of them which takes time. A few recipes that I have had simply did not work when put to the test so they have gone in the bin.

My friends Sally and Simon had there farewell supper with us over a week ago and Sall is now in the Isle of Man, I feel empty just knowing she is so far away, but I do have my good friend Carole who I can plague with all my problems, I like to think we listen to each other, but I fear I am too bossy it is in my nature!!!

Kyle turned 7 on the 15th and we had a special birthday lunch for him, his request was for Eaton mess as his dessert, this boy knows his food and loves it all, it is a joy to cook for them as they all enjoy a good meal, we had a pirate theme which was fun as Summer really made a good pirate, could be a worry for the future!

We have just survived half term and to be honest I loved being with the kids, we did nothing special but we had fun, we went to the park, we had a fun keep fit session which saw the kids leaping around the sitting room, how Joanne puts up with me and my crazy ideas I don’t know. We also had really special treat lunches with gooey puddings for afters.

I now feel spring is around the corner, I love spring seeing new life come shooting through the ground, the lambs in the fields and the sun starting to warm up always makes me feel better. I also heard my nephew who is at collage has manage to get himself a partime job which is great news in this terrible economic climate, now the price of fuel is becoming really scary and that is something which will have to become a rant soon, hope all my friends are well and happy.xxx
