Center Parcs Calling!

As we approach autumn I really look forward to my annual break at Center parcs the very fact I have been going their for over 25 years says it all really, yet the place has grown, moved with the times and yet listened to what customers need and want.

Visiting during the later part of the year the forests are a rainbow of colours, you enjoy putting the log fire on in the evenings and sitting in the swimming dome in a constant 83 degrees when out side is wet and cold is wonderful, so to me it is the best time to go, also for the midweek  bookings you can pick up some real bargains, even the cheapest villas are still above average. We treat ourselves and get the executive with it’s own sauna, and I would really miss that as I find sitting in their so relaxing it is a major part of my holiday.

People can be as active or as lazy as you please there is no pressure to do anything if some only go to use the Spa they have there which is amazing and I will be using again. Their are a large selection of restaurants to suit everyone and children always welcome also a take away service, but the kitchens are so good you can easily cook in your villa which is what we do some nights, excellent shops also allow you not to worry about forgotten items.

We find no need to leave the village once we have checked in, park the car up for the week and start enjoying yourself, as most of you know I have a disabled granddaughter and this place is the one holiday that i can say is totally disabled friendly, the best changing cabins I have been in, nothing is to much trouble for the staff, we take her wheelchair into the swimming area, all the restaurants have access and the special accommodation for disabled although they do not have many villas they are also excellent, they are fully adapted with wet room showers and hoists also large doorways.

I have had many people say it is expensive, yes if you go in the high season it will be, or weekends are more expensive but midweek is quieter and out of season is a really good buy, I found when I went to Cornwall in May with Haven in a caravan that I could have had a villa at Center Parcs cheaper than the Haven deal I got and with far more quality than I got from Haven, most people that use Center Parcs do tend to return as it is a good break from the daily routine without having to board a plane.
