Sunday 29th March, started a little differently we woke to the sound of the fire alarms beeping at us, this normally happens if they have gone off, and I am sure that we would have noticed if they had, so we got up to work out what was happening.
We had no electric, this meant we could not have a coffee, use the phone, get any hot water or get any hot food, as the mobiles had no network either we agreed this must be quite a major power cut, so with that in mind we decided to visit Joanne as in the city they hardly ever have power failures.
Turned out to be the correct thing to do as I called the electric company from Joe’s and found out it would be off for 2-3 hours, best couple of hours we have spent for a while as the children were all on top form, check out the picture gallery, Summer got to try her first milky stars and ended up covered in chocolate, we took poor Murphy’s picture, as he will soon look like a duster again he is very cute.
Paige got to enjoy everyone just been together the whole house just echoed with the sound of laughter, and Joe just floats around surrounded by her happy family brood we would not have missed this day for anything.
