A Fun Filled Weekend

Last weekend was a lot better than many in the past few weeks, Joanne and Graham went to Bristol for an overnight shopping trip and we had the 2 boys and Paige. John had great fun showing the boys the new games which came with the PlayStation move pack, while Paige and I had some nice walks and girlie time. The children went home on Saturday tea time so I cooked John a really nice supper, which I have put up the recipe for those who fancy it. Sunday morning and I had my first lay in for ages, I was still in bed at 10.00am  which I have not done for such a long time but when John mentioned that he thought he might take me into Salisbury for a mooch around the shops, well say no more I was up and dressed makeup on and out within the hour, we had such a nice time, not really looking for anything just enjoying time together, it got even better when he said he would take me for lunch, so we then had a very nice lunch in the Cathedral Hotel, it was altogether a very nice day in the warm autumn sunshine.

Later in the evening I picked up the Sunday paper and wished I had not, it was very upsetting to read all the doom and gloom that surrounds our economy, our future generation who if they want a good education are going to then land themselves in dept and companies just outsourcing all the work to India and other countries yet still expecting to have full trade rights here, it was interesting to read the comment from the unite union which stated England is the easiest country in Europe to sack people and take the work abroad, I just pray someone listens and stops this happening, fingers crossed.
