Where’s My Keys?

Where’s my keys was the words hurling around the kitchen 7 am on Friday morning, John could not find his keys for the car and was due to leave for work. Panic started to set in as we checked all the usual places, then it was, “you most have moved them”, errr sorry I was at work last night I was not in when you arrived home. Then he claimed I must have moved them when I came in, by this time it was 7.15 so I told him take your spare key and I will find then during the course of the morning, ok we both agreed, off he went to work.

I spent most of Friday checking every draw, the dustbin, the freezer, under the bed, you name it I was there, no keys.

John got in Friday evening told me his day had been good, enjoying working with these new people, he then said” you did not find the keys”, no I said sorry looked everywhere, he smiled yeah I found them at lunch time, he had bent down and heard his keys rattle they were hanging on his belt, he had attached them to the belt loop on his trousers when he had come in on Thursday night then forgot all about it, of course at 6 am next morning being half asleep did not see them when putting his trousers on, I could have gone mad, to think what I had gone through and they were hanging on his trousers, men !!!
