Review: Nobilo Orca Bay, Sauvignon Blanc

Nobilo Orca Bay, Sauvignon Blanc

Wow is the best way to describe this wine and then it has got to be give me more! My daughter bought me this bottle last week as a little thank you present, I came home cooked a simple pasta and pesto supper, then sat down with my glass of wine. I had the first mouthful and I felt really shocked, I went for another mouthful and yes the flavours were still the same, superb, full of kiwi and melon still gentle and softly sweet with perfect balance. I then looked at the label, as I suspected it was from New Zealand, crisp and very classy. It is in Waitrose at the moment on special for an amazing £5.99 it should retail at £8.99 and to be honest it could retail higher than that, I am going tomorrow to buy several bottles as it is a gem. Also just after I tried mine someone on twitter tweeted this Orca Bay wine is amazing, yes I agree do try it.

  1. I know I should be turning to fruity reds in front of the fire, but I still prefer a light, dry white from New Zealand. Hope you get your bottles before everyone else does x
