Ok who is getting ready for Christmas?

Well I have to be honest I am now starting to panic as I feel yet again Christmas is about to pounce upon me. I really do have nightmares that I will not be ready, that I go to buy a turkey and they have none left, that I cannot get the children’s Christmas presents, it really should not be such a big deal, but I have to admit that if it wasn’t I would be the first to complain.

My one problem is I never have enough time, I always seem to be busy, I make lists to organize myself and they just keep getting bigger, shortly one of my lists will rival the M1. I do enjoy it when it gets here, I love seeing the children looking at Christmas trees with a sense of wonder in their eyes, I love Nativity plays, but most of all I love the families coming together.

This year is very busy as we have Ben’s christening on the 4th of December, Paige turns 14 on the 2nd of December, Christmas eve is Ben’s 1st birthday and my birthday on the 17th so lots going on.

We also have a whole list of things we have to go to, like the school Christmas play, Imogen and I will also be going to the tennis club on the 13th of December when they are having a Christmas social thing, we will play tennis first and then I think it is mulled wine and mince pies, might have to stay at Jo’s that night so I can enjoy the wine. Imogen is really coming on in her tennis now, thanks to our brilliant coach Milhaly Burka, we always manage to have a bit of fun but also feel we learn a lot. For people who have asked me about the tennis it is the Riverside Tennis Club, Salisbury, a very nice friendly club.

John is still busy and we are both still getting our heads around the business side of things, hopefully within another month we will have ironed out the kinks and be fully up to speed with it all.

I like to finish with a bit of good news today we were at Southampton Hospital with Paige seeing the orthopaedic surgeon’s and they have told us that although her hip is fully dislocated that they feel it will not move anymore and that until the pain becomes a lot worse they are not going to do anything, which due to the nature of the surgery is a great relief, as for Paige it would have been very dangerous, so we can relax for a little while. Also I have a mass of new recipes just waiting for me to put them up, and I will soon. stay happy and safe. xxxx
