Who Needs Shopping Bags?

Thank you to all my friends that have been in-touch wishing me get well, nice to say that now I believe I am on the mend, the winter months are always bad for me, this climate does not suit Asthma, if I had the money I would be warm and sunny for January and February.

I am still taking lots of steroids which has made a huge difference but the down side of that is that they do not let me sleep, I fall asleep and an hour later wake up feeling as though I have had my eight hours, sounds good, no!!!! the bags around my eyes look as though I have this weeks shopping in them, no amount of eye cream or cold cucumber makes any difference, so hopefully I will soon be off them and fully back to normal.

Things are again changing for me in the fact that this week coming John will be away for a week doing exams, not bad staying in a four star hotel with pool and gym to do his study work!! but it does mean I will be catching up with friends and having a couple of girlie nights. When he gets home it will then be down to chasing new contracts that could take him any where but a lot of people are faced with these changes today.

Joanne and I are going to have supper together on Monday evening as Graham is also away, so I am looking forward to that, the children are looking forward to me staying over for the night, so it should be a good evening, then we also have a family day planned for Kyles birthday on the 15th Feb, plus Valentines day to look forward to, this year we are not going anywhere to stay but we have decided to cook for each other and have a romantic evening in our cottage, John is cooking the main course and I am doing starters and pudding so it should be quite a nice time.

Now I am feeling much more myself I will be bringing lots of little articles to you I have on file to put up on this site, I have found that a lot of you enjoy the little travel offers I come across, which is good as I have found quite a few new ones, also I have tried some new recipes so they also will be coming along, till then it’s love to you keep safe and stay warm, much love Susie.
