Travelodge have done it again and reduced the price of their rooms to less than the price of a meal at some pubs, they are limited in number but you can get them, we had one last year and had a day or two away in Cornwall. This deal is only between 29th November and 10th January but it is great if you want to visit family or friends just before Christmas and hand out presents, you will find that the more popular locations remain at a higher price but some times just another 5-6 miles and you find a room price is halved.
