After reading the paper today I am amazed the suicide rate is not as high as the unemployment rate, it left me feeling totally depressed, for gods sake we know we are in recession, we know our food bills are nearly higher than the heating bills, we know we are the smallest island yet still letting every Tom Dick and Harry arrive here and claim every benefit known to man, what we need is to look for the way forward.
I would just love to read advice that would say this is the way out of this god awful mess we are in, I have my own views on that but not to sure if I should print them.
I just wonder why we import so much, we should be producing more of our own stuff and using it, Ok without China and Japan we might be stuffed, but why we import meat and veg just beats me.
Ah well my French wine is calling me, must keeping importing that though.
