This wine was first introduced to us about 14 years ago by two new friends, we were having supper with them and Mike always loves a good red wine, at that time it was his latest find, we loved it.
Since then whenever I buy this wine not only do I think of them and the many hours we have sat sharing bottles of it with them, but it is like having something you just know is going to be good and not let you down.
It is big bold full of blackcurrant, yet it brings visions of autumn with it and the sweet smell of hedgerows filled with berries, it is at it’s best served with a hearty meaty dish or good strong cheese.
This wine is not a cheap Australian wine, it is mid price range and a classic south Australian wine from a label you can trust. have some friends around and share it with them, it could be the start of a long friendship.
