It Was A Wonderful Mothers Day

I know I am rather late with this but I have been really busy which I will also explain to you in the next few lines, but first I want to let you know about my wonderful treat for Mother’s day which Graham arranged for Joanne and myself, he really is a good son in law.

He had us booked in at the Aqua Sana at Longleat Center Parcs for their Spa Day which included as much time as we wanted in the wonderful spa and 2 treatments each, which were a facial and a hot stone massage plus  light refreshments when we got there and then a wonderful lunch. We left home at 8.30am to make sure we had the full day, it was a bright sunny morning so were in high spirits, we checked in at reception and decided first to have a walk around the park. Joanne and I have stayed at Longleat before but it is always nice to see what changes have taken place and to have a walk throught the forest, we then headed down to the Spa, it is just so good the rooms are so different, it is so luxurious it was blissful. Lunch in the Zilli cafe was also very special of course we had to have a glass of champagne, that set us up to go for our treatments.

The hot stone massage was amazing and I just wish it could have gone on for hours, the facial was very relaxing and my skin has never felt so good I do really like the Elemis products, my only complaint is that it went to quickly although I am sure for Graham left babysitting 6 children that it seemed like an eternity, for Joanne and I it was so special, it was our time, Mother and Daughter together laughing and relaxing sharing quality time, such a wonderful experience.

Now back to busy! Well John is away living in Swindon again so I am on my own, this time he is in a Premier Inn so I hope he feels comfortable enough, he has been told there is a chance he may be contracting in Bristol next so he is going through the security checks which meant I had to dig all sorts of stuff out which had to be sent away, because it is Lloyds bank he will be contracting for. I have also started talking to people about a room in Bristol for him so that has kept me very busy, on top of this it is the end of the tax year which meant books have to be done, so yes it has been busy.

On a positive note spring is here and it has been so beautiful this past fortnight, walking in the woods last week I was looking at primroses and bluebells just starting to open, the birds singing so loudly and the air smelt so sweet, all the trees turning green agin as the leaves start to open, I felt I just want to sit and take it all in, it felt it had been a long winter.

Well Easter is around the corner, I am looking forward to a few days off and spending some time with John. bye for now, take care my friends.xxxx
