Just got back from Mevagissey after a great week with four of the grandchildren in a caravan at Pentewen Sands.
We have been so lucky with the weather, we had 3 great days on the beach, then it turned a little cloudy but nothing compared to the weather we had last year which was awful.
Paige had a wonderful holiday, she loves the sand and the sea, so for her it was all about getting on the beach, it was so easy as this site has direct access so it was great just load up the buggy and off we went. The other highlight this year for Paige was going to Flambards theme park, we often find that she is not allowed to go on rides as they see her as too much of a risk, not in Cornwall though, they could not have been nicer, they even offered to help us get her on and off rides, she wanted to go back next day as she had so much fun.
The other kids also had a wonderful time both on the beach and at the park as well as the other visits we did around the Mevagissey area, yes it was hard work, but I would not have missed a minute of it as we got to share some really special moments with them all and many laughs along the way, we feel we are privileged to have the trust of Joanne to take them all away for week, some say how lucky she is to have us to do that, but I really think we are lucky too to have her trust.
