Builders Finished, Paige Goes Home, My Brother Arrives.

Hectic sort of describes how it has been just recently, with the bathroom finished at Joanne’s house it meant Paige could go back home, both John and I really missed her the first couple of nights, although have to admit it was hard going on the mornings. John gets up at 5.30 which means we are all up, it is then a mad dash to do the breakfasts, make some good coffee, make his lunch, and then I would start on Paige to make sure we could be out of the house for about 7.30 and back down to hers for just after 8.00am then I would leave her with her Mum while I went off to work till I finished at 4.30 then went back down to Salisbury to pick her up again to get back in about 6.00ish to start supper but I would not have missed it, so many times she made us smile, she was loving being the center of attention.

For Joanne it had meant the house was in a continual state of transition with builders coming and going, then they had the huge job of laying a new floor in the bedroom and decorating, Joanne added some beautiful finishing touches and it is really lovely.

We also managed to fit a special day-out into this week, we went to Wonderland near Bournemouth on Wednesday to see Dora the explorer, it also is a theme park with rides and the children had an amazing day out.

Thursday I recieved a phone call off my brother, to say he fancied coming down for the weekend, i was over the moon although it was supposed to be a quite weekend for John and I, we did not mind a bit as we do not get to see them very much, we knew the children would also enjoy seeing them. from that moment onwards it has been planning meals and trying to make sure everyone had a nice time, Joanne had us all round to enjoy coffee and scones which was a great treat, but I ate too much and really did drink too much but it was a good weekend.

Monday the start of a new week and already it has been fun and very busy, today we spent in the pool at the farm, also picnicking and tennis playing, again I over ate, but i loved seeing the children have such fun, apart from one incident first thing this morning when baby Summer threw herself into the swimming pool and poor Joanne had to dive in fully clothed to save her, Summer’s only comment was I think I need arm bands, it had not put her off at all.

I hope life is being gentel on you all. xxx
