early draft

The new single “Here Comes The Night (a different tune)” has just been
released by John Hunter, an English singer/songwriter based in
Salisbury, England. Although he has been quietly writing and recording
songs for many years it was only in his father died of cancer that he
has began to actively promote his music releasing the music video
“When Death Divides” on YouTube which is a touching tribute to his
father. He followed this up by releasing his first single “Earth
Today” which contained the title track and “Angeles (I’ve been so
alone)” both these songs reflect social issues that are at the heart
of issues that we face today. “Earth Today” was released with a music
video which can also be found on YouTube and Facebook. He followed
this up by releasing “Fun & Games” a rock blues track which also
included the song “When Death Divides”.

Music came late into John’s life and all started when his father left
his guitar for safe keeping whist he went off to New Zealand, a land
that John had spent his early childhood in. His father never did get
his guitar back and John and his guitar began their own journey
including returning to New Zealand and travelling to Australia.

John Hunter is currently working on his his follow up single “Foreign
Land” which is planned to be released early 2020 and is planning a
mini tour for early 2020. Top unreleased songs that you should listen
to on Soundcloud should include “Age Of Innocence”, “Keeping These
Dreams Alive” and “The Weekend”.
