I have had a really nice weekend which is so nice to say, nothing that out of the ordinary but just different enough to be special. We had 3 of the children on Friday evening for their sleepover which was fun for all, they went home Saturday evening and then on Sunday we met up with Joanne and the family plus my ex husband and his fiance, for a large gathering at a local pub, 13 0f us altogether.
It was wonderful watching the children with there grandfather that they do not get to see very often as he does live a long way from them about 350 miles, so it was a very special moment for them all, and Mary is such a good person the children all love her to bits, what makes it better still is that as the years have passed we are all now good friends and can joke about passed lives, it makes it easy for our daughter to have us altogether.
I believe all that we wish for each other now is true happiness and that feeling reflects on the family. They are travelling back to the North of england tomorrow, we wish them both a safe journey and hope to get together soon, we know their grandchildren will miss them also.
