The sunshine this weekend has been just the pick me up the doctor ordered, everything looks so much better when the sun is out. Generally though it has been a very nice weekend, we had Paige and Imogen on Friday evening till Saturday tea time, we took them out for a pub lunch on Saturday and sat in the pub garden which was so nice to do after being couped up for what seems to have been a very long winter.
The past week had again been as hectic as ever we did have a very productive meeting with Paige’s physio she is very nice and really does listen to what you are saying, so the help we get from her is the kind we need, we have some new exercises to do now which should help to keep her top half more mobile and hopefully keep her back straight, which is often a problem with people with severe disabilities. My other major job has been getting on top of the tax side of things as it is the end of the tax year so I spent a sunny afternoon checking all the book are in order, amid all these things going on I did manage to have my two best friends over for lunch which was really nice to catch up with them, I used to work with them and see a lot of them so it is nice to keep our friendship going.
Other things keeping me busy are plans I have being putting together for a weekend in Cardiff in June which I will be doing a review on and also our trip to Cornwall with the children at the end of May which I will also do a review on as Pentewan Sands have just built a new indoor pool and club house which should be very nice for the children. I also have a few nice recipes waiting to go up which hopefully I will be doing in the next few days, I hope everyone got to enjoy some of the sun this weekend. On a final note you may notice John has a huge coat on and Imy has a tiny tee shirt, well it was a very nice 21 degrees but poor John takes several weeks of that temperature before he sheds his coats bless him he really has no blood in his veins.
