How I make my mushroom sauce

After been asked advice by one of my YouTube subscribers on how to make a mushroom sauce. I thought the best way to show how to make one was to make a YouTube video of the process. This sauce can easily be modified to make a lovely mushroom risotto.

Below are Ingredients used in this dish.

  • 250g chestnut mushrooms
  • 1 small red onion (chopped)
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1tbs olive oil
  • 1 tbs Mushroom Ketchup ( I used Geo Watkins Mushroom Ketchup)
  • 15g Porcini mushrooms ( I used the Waitrose Cook’s Ingredients porcini mushrooms)
  • 1 Chicken Stock cube (Knorr)
  • 1 large tps Dijon Mustard
  • 2 -3 tbs Double cream
  • 1 splash of white wine
  • 3 Pork steaks
  • Albert Bartlett Rooster Deep Crinkle Cut Chips
