Nice Way To Spend Saturday

Today Saturday has been a much nicer day than those we had in July and August, blue sky’s and about 22 degrees so it had to be an outing, we decided that as both john and i had work to catch up on it would just have to be somewhere for lunch with a nice garden and child/ disabled friendly.

We found two very nice pubs near Warminster looking across at the white horse of Westbury. The first pub was really very nice and the garden so peaceful, but it did not have very much for the children to climb around on and also it was very expensive so we had a drink and moved on, only one mile down the road, this one was children’s heaven, good sized garden with frames and things to climb and the tables had lots of space around them, and this time the menu was a sensible price, they also sold fruit shoots so the kids did not have to have half a pint of coke, this was also very pretty and a lovely place to sit and watch the children burn off energy, poor Paige did comment she wished she could do those things which really got to John and me, so we made sure she had a swing on the swings and a couple of goes down the slide.

Details of the pubs will be on my bit and pieces page.
