Some Nice Times

Life is still giving us a bumpy ride but there have been some nice moments recently which have made such a pleasant change. Paige has now got a new social worker and we hope she stays with Paige for a while, she came from a care background and understands the needs Paige has, and Joanne finds her very easy to get along with, she also told Joanne about a new type of club for children like Paige which would only be once a month and not at all formal just a get together so that children could meet and possibly make friends. Joanne took Paige and Imy along to the leisure Center, Paige had a wonderful time followed by a party tea, Imogen was helping out but she also really had a great time and now both girls are looking forward to the next meeting.

Joanne also took delivery of the new family bus, which is really cool, big and cool! the kids love it as it has lots of space and good comfy seats. I have drove it and it is very nice to drive but I am sure I will not be getting speeding tickets in that vehicle as it is a little slow pulling away.

One of the not so good things is that Paige has to go back into hospital to have some more teeth removed, which will be upsetting for her.

All the children are loving there new baby brother, he gets lots of attention and he seems to enjoy it.

On our front John is doing very well and will be living back at home from Friday instead of in digs in Swindon during the week, but I must say he was very lucky to get such a nice couple to rent a room from, Lynda is a nurse and Don a builder, they are both very kind and thoughtful people with a lovely home, we are very grateful to them for taking care of John the way they did, and if at anytime he has to stay over we will be hoping she has a room free.

I do believe the constant therapies used on his foot has speed-ed the healing process up a lot and can now understand how footballers get back in the game as quickly as they do, although it almost became a full-time job!!

I hope the begining of January has been kind to you all, and I am hoping the rest of the year is gentle on us all.xxx
