Ready For A Make Over

Today Sunday which is meant to be a day of rest has proved to be my busiest day this week, getting John packed for the week, sorting out all his exam gear, plus his gym stuff and swim things, along with checking his car over, giving it a quick wash, while having an asthma attack as you can tell quite mad really, some will ask why do it, the answer has got to be personal satisfaction in knowing that I have done all I can do to make this an easy day for John before he starts his daunting week ahead, I know I would not like to be taking these exams, he is only doing them to secure a better future for us both.

My plans this week are quite nice, I have decided it is time to get something different done with my hair, so both Joanne and I are visitng the hair salon on Thursday, no idea what I will come out looking like but I will enjoy it, Girls supper on Monday that is Joanne and I and then hopefully seeing my good mate Carole on Tuesday for supper, lots of phone calls to make and friends to chat to so I think I am going to be quite busy, and also plan to squeeze a bit of shopping in as well.

Good news came our way on Friday, Nationwide Swindon have asked John to stay on for another 3 months so that is going to fit in very well with other plans John has at the moment. I will really miss him and I am looking forward to a special valentine’s weekend with him when he gets back, it is always special to us as it was that day we got engaged 17 years ago, so the champagne will be nicely chilled. Just to finish I thought I would let you know what Paige said to me in Tesco on Thursday morning I was looking at the valentine cards when she reached over and took my hand, she said I want to buy you a valentine card granny because I love you so much, then she kissed my hand, it was the sweetest moment and one I will always cherish, it made me feel the luckiest person alive.
