As yet another week comes to a close I see Autumn on it’s way, I do not want summer to leave yet. This past week had yet again been very busy, but slightly different as it was myself that took up the time with trips to the dentist after losing a filling at the weekend. Joanne and Graham also having a trip to the North of England this weekend so we had some packing and things to sort out, John and I have had Owen and Paige staying with us, as for them to do a 6 hour journey for such a short stay did not seem a good idea.
The weather this weekend could have been better, it has been very warm but grey skys are not what I like, I much prefere blue skys and sunshine, but we made the best of it and took them out for some fresh air calling at the pub so Owen could play on the playground, it was a special time as we all chatted together, he also gave us a few laughs as he swung around the climbing frame.
Today Sunday it has been time to get out and pick Blackberries then we came straight home and made them into crumble for Owen as this is his favorite pudding, the next few weeks will see me in the fields everyday collecting berries to last me through the winter, as I said it makes me sad a little as this is the close of what has been a very nice summer with some very special moments.
