Well I guess most people feel the same at the moment, back in May I was told it would be a red hot summer, then when we had a week with temperatures in the 30c I thought , yes they have got it right, I think I changed all that, I went and bought a large tower fan, never seen temperature like it since. Still when I look at the weather some places have had we are not doing too badly.
John is enjoying his contract in Swindon, got a call from him today at lunchtime, it went “Hi babes you ok, yeh fine thanks are you, yes great just eating Thai beef really nice, in the company restaurant, oh good my cold sausage roll is great too!!! ” ok for some, he showed me some photo’s of the place tonight, I can understand why he likes working their, they have a great chill out room with a huge tele and a very nice gym and their own tennis courts, yep think I would be well happy.
I had Paige and Owen at the weekend which I enjoyed they keep me entertained and also busy as Owen believes granny’s place is in the kitchen with requests for homemade coffee cakes, and a continual supply of goodies.
Called in on my friend Carole she lives in a really beautiful spot far from anywhere, came away with green beans straight from the garden and eggs from her chickens she is such a gem, afraid all I can offer her is IT support when she needs it, and that would have to be from John, but it was great catching up and having a chat.
Busy week ahead swimming with Paige on Wednesday, and catching up on masses of paper work etc, just want hot sunshine to sit in while I do, so I will take myself off and do some prayers to the local sungods.
