I took the children and Joanne to Weymouth on Wednesday a school holiday special treat, we went to the Sea life center there. We had a lovely day despite the most god awful weather you could imagine. The sea life center which we thought would be mainly undercover is not!! it is however a kids paradise and is a lot of fun.
When we first got there we saw a childrens fun paddling pool and then a slash about area, Paige really wanted to go into it, we said no you will get very wet, during the next two hours we got more than very wet, no words can express how wet I got. Because I am a sort of organized person I took bin bags along for the rubbish from our picnic but it was that bad that the baby and Paige both ended using them,as rain macs and I also sat in lashing rain on several roundabouts just to keep the kids happy, then drove home 50 miles in wet pants and trousers not to mention getting out at MacDonald’s to get the kids a treat, yes I got very strange looks but strangely we had a very nice day, ah must tell you about my daughters attire she walked around looking like a model on a photo shoot, as it was monsoon conditions she had flip flops and floaty cardigan and a little tee shirt on, sporting a pretty little umbrella, it all looked great till she had to wade through deep puddles, then her face was a picture, soooo funny. We will have to see what our next outing brings.
