Well it had to happen, the snow eventually caught up with Wiltshire, I had been keeping my fingers crossed we might miss it this year, but no this morning when I got up the heavens had dumped a multitude of snow on us, now this may be sounding like someone who does not like snow, but really I love it, if I have the time to not work and just enjoy throwing snowballs and sledging, but in the real world I need to work.
Work that also did not happen today, I had to let Joanne and Paige down as I could not get off my drive, John also had to ring his work and say he could not get in, he does have a long drive an hour and a half every morning and evening, but our lanes were just impassable, John is going to try and get there tomorrow if he makes it we will book him into a hotel for the night so he does not have to do the journey home, I also intend to be at work, just might take me a while to get there.
I do think it is beautiful I just wish we could order it to arrive on Christmas eve and then go just before we go back to work, next year I am going to be buying some snow chains I cannot stand being stranded unable to get to the shops is just sooooo not me.!!!!!
